Terms of Use

AXIS is a game where you raise, dress and battle an AI creature. It's run by Death Studios LTD ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Who can play

You must be 16 or older. If you're under 18, check with a parent or carer before signing up. If we find an account belongs to someone under 16, we'll close it and delete its data.

2. Your account

• Use a real email address you can get into. We use it for password resets and important notices, never for adverts unless you ask.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes your AXIS, its memories and your chats.

3. AXIS is an AI

What AXIS says is written by AI (artificial intelligence) as you chat, not by a person. AXIS isn't a person, and can be wrong, forgetful or strange.

• Don't rely on AXIS for medical, legal, money or safety advice.
• If you're struggling or thinking about hurting yourself, talk to a real person. In the UK you can call Samaritans free on 116 123, any time. In an emergency, call 999.

4. How to behave

Follow the Community Rules. In short: no hate, no harassment, nothing sexual, nothing illegal, no cheating, no attacking the game.

5. What you put in

• You keep ownership of what you type. You let us store it and use it to run AXIS: their memory, their replies, your friends' chat.
• We may use messages, with names and details removed, to improve how AXIS talks. You can ask us not to (see the Privacy Policy).
• Don't put anything in AXIS you don't want stored, like passwords, bank details or other people's private information.

6. Coins, costumes and items

Coins, costumes and items only exist inside the game. They have no cash value, can't be traded for money, and may change as the game is balanced. If we ever sell anything for real money, we'll add the price and refund rules here first.

7. Ending or pausing accounts

• We can rename, pause or close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Rules. For serious or repeated breaks we can do this without warning.
• AXIS is a small, young game. It may go down, change, or one day close. If we ever shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice where we can.

8. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep AXIS running and safe, but it's provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for lost progress, downtime, or what the AI says. Nothing here limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our responsibility for death or injury caused by our negligence.

9. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.

10. The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
